Hi, everyone! It's Rebecca hosting today's blog post. The summer flew by and here we are, nearly at the end of August! I am almost finished scrapbooking my grandson's first vacation. I decided to use Club Q to create a mini album, perfect for my daughter-in-law's purse.

                                                     "Ocean Themed Mini Album"

  • I took the five envelopes from the kit and scored one of them 5 inches.
  • I took the other four envelopes and placed them in the trimmer with the score line at the 3/4 inch mark. Trim excess.
  • Add scor-tape to the hinges.
  • Stack the envelopes together and remove the tape to adhere one to another.
  • You should have one hinge left with tape on it.

  • Cut both ends at an angle of stacked envelope.
  • Remove tape and attach to the inside of the first envelope with the score mark.
  • Choose colors of ink and color all the page edges and the center of each page.
  • Choose the paper from the kit for each page. Ink edges and apply to pages.
  • I took the twine and adhered half of it to the front of the album with scor-tape.
  • I placed the frame over the top of the twine and then placed the center of the frame with more scor-tape creating the wrap around closure.

Now it is all about decoration! I used some but not all of the frames.I kept it very simple since it is made for a purse.

I kept one envelope opened so that I could place more photo mats!

I love Club Q! The possibilities are truly endless! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Hi, everyone! It's Rebecca hosting today's blog post. Summer is nearing the end but I am still scrapping fresh photos. I used the blues and greens from Spring Showers to create and under water scene for the layout...

                                                                   "Under The Sea"

The layout is simple and quick to create.

  • Free hand cut waves from sandy brown cardstock. Repeat with the blue water color paper from Spring Showers paper pack. Ink edges.
  • Attach blue watercolor paper to a light blue cardstock and sandy brown to the bottom of watercolor paper.
  • Add a circle punched from yellow cardstock to make a sun in the top right corner.

  • Die cut all pieces and color with markers.
  • Attach diecut pieces as shown.
  • Scribble glue along the bottom and add Prills

Such a quick and easy layout to add to the summer album! Quick Quotes paper packs allow for the creation of whatever you can image!

  • Cut a coordinating piece 1/4 inch smaller and ink edges. Attach to sand cardstock.
  • Ink all die cut pieces

Layer strips of cardstock from the bottom up.

Die cut two(2) wave borders of your choice out of white cardstock. Ink one to change the color to blue and leave the other white.

Attach the white one to the top edge of anchor paper and trim excess. Layer the inked one slightly off center and trim off excess.

I love to use cameras and travel themes when I am needing a masculine card. Here is my contribution to the blog hop....

Sn@p!

I die cut the SVG from Treasure Box Designs using my cricut machine. (I decided to not use the trees and circle)

I inked the edges of the pieces and assembled

I used Navigator Paper Pack from Quick Quotes Scrapbooking Company. I cut the paper at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, making sure to keep the continent intact.  I cut a circle out of the second layer of paper and used what remained.

I matted the Sn@p! onto a piece or coordinating paper and rounded the corners. Added brads to three of the corners and over laid a fussy cut circle over the fourth corner. I simple "Happy Birthday" phrase is stamped on the inside.

You have reached the END of the Blog Hop! I hope you had as much fun as we did!

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

Good day, everyone!  Today I am sharing a layout I made using paper from Secret Garden. I found these two pictures of my son, Elijah, and his first tooth. Oh, how time goes by so fast! This chubby, cheeked little boy is now 14 years old and 6 feet tall!

"My First Tooth"

  •  To begin, I grabbed a green cardstock for my base.
  • Next, I layered my patterned paper in the center.

  • I trimmed two pieces of the celery green patterned paper from the collection at 1 1/4 x 12
  • I trimmed the green stripe from the striped patterned paper  and included the white on both sides.
  • Next, I trimmed the green stripe in half and glued one half to the bottom of the celery piece. Repeat, for the second green collection

  • I gathered my embellishments: teeth that were die cut and inked, cardstock phrase trimmed and inked.
  • I made my last embellishment using a SVG and cutting it using the paper from Secret Garden

  • I added a fishtail banner to the top and an arrow to the bottom of the layout.
  • A little ric-rac was added to the arrow before the completed title.
  • Add foam tape to title and attach

  • Finally, the inked teeth and cardstock phrase were added.

Secret Garden Paper Pack is such a universal collection. It is a must have for any scrapbooker! No matter the event...Secret Garden can help you get it scrapped!
Oh, what fun it is to go back and remember days gone by! Isn't that why we all enjoy this hobby?

Hello, everyone from hot and sunny, Indiana!  This time of year is so busy with cook outs and bar-b-ques. I like to have a little card for the host of the party attached to my side dish when I attend cook outs. I love Quick Quotes paper, as it fits every event! Here is a couple of Fourth of July cards I made using Secret Garden.

                                                          "Celebrating the 4th of July"

****************************************************************************

  • I cut 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 pieces of red, white and blue paper from sheets from the Secret Garden Paper
  • I cut 1/4" strips out of the white and a 2 1/4 by 3 inch piece from the blue.
  • Attach the white strips to the red paper and trim off the edges

  • Punch 13 stars from the white paper
  • Dab ink on the stars
  • Glue stars in a circular fashion on the square of blue paper
  • Attach foam tape to the back
  • Adhere it to the top left corner

********************************************************************

  • Punch large and small stars out of scraps of red and blue leftover from the previous card
  • Ink the edges of the stars
  • Ink the red background
  • Stamp the stars and the circles with Barn Board and Deep Sea ink
  • Attach large and small stars with adhesive

  •  Take sentiment stamp and ink the top half with Barn Board and the lower part with Deep Dea
  • Stamp sentiment at an angle on the card

  • Attach to the card base
  • I added Pearl Pen in yellow for added embellishment

How cute will these be for my host or hostess as I hand them my side dish?

Hi everybody! Club Q kits are jammed pack full of product. I used my own alternate idea for cards from a previous month's kit. What fun it was to pull in a little glitter and have a few more cards on hand, ready to gift!

                                                           "Happy, Happy, Happy!"

  •  I used a standard white card base cut @ 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
  • I then cut the paper from the kit at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the floral print at 4 x 5 1/4

  • I cut a strip of the stripe paper and cut it at 4 inches.
  • Next, I fussy cut several images from the paper...including one that was on the edge.
  • I inked all of the pieces with chalk ink.

  • I added foam tape to the back of the fussy cut images.
  • I also added glue to the center of the flowers and added glitter.

  • I even added the glue in a fine line along the stripe paper!
  • I finished by adding the sentiment, cut from Cardstock Phrases sheet.

I wanted a little more of a masculine feel to the next card so I stuck with the red cut to the size stated in the previous card.

  • Ink the edges of each paper

  •  Cut a stripe of arrows and snip apart with a pair of scissors.
  • Glue red paper to card base.
  • Next, add blue paper.
  • Using foam tape, attach the arrows on the top, bottom and side.

  • Finish the card with a matted sentiment.
  • Add glue and glitter to the center of the arrows.

Club Q kits give so much more than meets the eye! I love being able to pick up a kit and have the option to create the planned project or whatever I want.  Thank you for stopping by the blog today!
